About Shri DC Joshi
Shri D.C. Joshi has retired from the post of Chief, Business Development and Technology Transfer at National Research Development Corporation, New Delhi, which is an enterprise of DSIR under Ministry of Science & Technology, Government of India and created with a mandate to promote, and commercialize indigenously developed technologies emanating from various National Research Institutes, Universities etc., in the country.. He has more than 34 Years of valuable experience in the field of Technology Transfer and dealt numerous technologies emanated from various premier research institutes of the country, like ICMR, DBT, CSIR, DRDO ICAR, Universities etc, in biotechnology, Agribiotech, Food & Dairy biotech etc. He did his B. Tech. in Bio-chemical Engineering from Harcourt Butler Technological Institute (HBTI), Kanpur (UP) and M. Tech in Management & Systems from Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Delhi. Shri Joshi has vast experience in Identification and evaluation of commercially viable Biotechnologies/Chemical Technologies; Planning, Monitoring and implementation of development projects in the area of Biotechnology and allied field and Transfer of indigenously developed Biotechnologies/ Chemical technologies to the industry. Shri Joshi has visited number of countries with regards to technology transfer, consultancy projects and other related issues. Currently, he is serving as Chief, Yantriksh Cybernetics Industries.
